discussion at apple über Pink Floyd Discovery Box 2011 (remastered)

I just downloaded the Discovery box from iTunes, and received 14 albums. The description on the front page says the digital box also includes the three expanded editions of Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and the Wall. I know the latter two aren't out yet, but the Dark Side edition is. I'm a little nervous. Does anyone know if these will show up as a subsequent download for everyone who purchased the box?

Extensive A-B listening between the 2007 box and the new one reveals the slightest distinction between the two—and one that this writer strained to hear on a $60,000 dCS stack. At times, it feels as if the new box has a few more molecules of dynamic range, but overall, the sound is basically identical. There is absolutely no difference between the two sets as experienced on a $2,500 CD player, meaning, that for the mainstream listener, the box sets might as well be the same product.

That said, while the 2007 and 2011 remasters are essentially twins, enormous differences exist between the new discs and original CDs, even when played on a budget transport.

Zu deutsch. Wer 2007 die Knete aus dem Fenster geschmissen hat, der muß nur auf die 5.1-Surround-SACD von "Wish You Were Here" (Coming November 07, 2011) warten, alles andere hat er bereits in superber Klangqualität.

Also. Why Pink Floyd...?. Keine Ahnung.
